Green Bricks Foundation (GBF) held a consultation meeting with the Education Department, Government of Sindh, to discuss the importance of Non-Formal Education (NFE) and improving access to education for out-of-school children and marginalized communities. The meeting provided an opportunity to share field experiences, discuss challenges in reaching children who are unable to attend formal schools, and explore practical strategies for strengthening non-formal education initiatives. The Minister for Education, Government of Sindh, Mr. Sardar Shah, also graced the occasion and participated in the consultation and shared valuable perspectives on improving educational access and inclusion. The meeting emphasized stronger coordination between government institutions, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to promote alternative learning opportunities and bring more children into the education system. GBF appreciated the Education Department’s engagement and commitment to supporting inclusive and accessible education.
